Going Wireless

It's not easy. Lyrics to a song. The title escapes me, momentarily.

Going wireless is not easy. Which cell phone to buy, which plan to select?

What to do? When?

You don't trust the phone companies. Why? Ultimately, they are responsible for creating the confusion. It works for them. That makes it difficult to create a beneficial business relationship. Win lose is lose.

Crowd sourcing adds another layer of confusion. I've learned. The devices, generally, work well. Customer service, problem solving is abysmal. Particularly, if it is a billing issue.

" Don't be surprised by your first monthly, bill".

That's the opener, from Koodo on their billing practices. The first bill is pro-rated. Billing starts, from the date you activate your account. It ends, when the billing cycle ends. OK, works for them. Scares me! Sample above. Reference it here, in small print, at the bottom of the plan page. There's that trust issue!

Here's my wireless business plan.

Need Ditch the land line
Benefit Phone is with me

Phone
Need Basic phone
Want iPhone
Application Local calls minimal text
Features mp3 camera

Plan
Need No contract
Need No pseudo contract-IE TAB by Koodo
Need May be pay as I go?
Need Per second billing
Need Unlimited Evenings and weekends
Need Easy to decipher
Need Electronic billing and payment

Koodo almost had me. Upon review, discovered the phone I was considering was a TAB deal. Don't like TAB. Need to see what the phone costs without it? Still looking. Open to suggestions and assistance.

Wireless is do able, just takes some more work!

Found the song

Kermit's version

Enjoy!
